What we don't need

We don't need hats. (33 at last count).

We don't need any clothes for a girl, from size 000 to size 0.

We don't need any muslin wraps, or blankets.

We don't need any soft toys.

We don't need any 'onezies' in 000 at all... by ANY stretch of the imagination.

  1. Ah, you've hit on a gripe I'm living through...
Welcome to the wonderful fashion world of second children (at least if you have two of the same gender, especially also of the same season)- we have so many tiny clothes that I've concluded one approach is to try to wear each tiny outfit once before it is grown out of (pukey babies are especially helpful for this), and the other is to just be ruthless and focus on favourites... and to h*ll with the rest!!

And yet the clothes presents continue (do people think I threw out all the used clothes first time round??). On this anonymous stage I will admit to channeling the occasional outfit or wrap onto the "regifting" shelf, as well as exchanging clothes gifts for #2 for clothes that #1 needs!!

I've decided sensible 2nd time round gifts are things like towels and photo frames- two kids means twice the requirement!! And frozen meals!!
